to the sounds of feet booming above my head. I will stagger up the stairs and say goodbye to my oldest daughter as her dad takes her to the bus. I will change my middle child into school clothes, give him breakfast, make his lunch and snack, kiss him goodbye. Cuddle my youngest and watch Blues Clues until I want to yack, kiss her while drinking my coffee. Then clean the house before her speech teachers arrive.

That is the good version of the story.

and so life goes on, my son asks me when I'm going to go back to the other room (he calls it something else) and I say that daddy has his own room right now just like you do. that won't last long... so i guess what i intended is working too, sort of... it doesn't seem to have really made any difference in anything except i have more peace

my kids haven't mentioned it at all. It's been almost 3 months. My oldest is 9, you'd think she would have at least something to say about it. She does know that daddy snores and I'm a light sleeper. So I took the easy way out and used that. They never questioned it at all. Wonder how long that will last. :shrug:
