For my 5000th post...

...I'd like to say a few words.

Little did I know, back in 2003 when I signed up, that I would be able to call so many of you friend. I was totally awestruck by so many people who thought and felt about politics as I do. It has been an awesome ride.

There have been many people who touched my heart, made me laugh, and made the last few years a little more bearable. This message would be the length of War and Peace if I tried to list all of you. Rest, secure in the knowledge that I carry you in my heart.

To Skinner, EarlG and Elad:
Thanks for having the best place on the internets to talk, socialize, and be politically active. You guys rock.

To the rest of you lugs, I can't wait for the next 5000. I love you all.

it took you quite a while. I still remember that I burned my 5000th post telling newyawker99 that OMC was erroneously listed as passing 5000. That was long ago and far away. Now he has far more posts than you and I together.
