I have no significant complaints; I'm just grumpy because I'm apparently really clumsy today. I hit my knee VERY hard on some metal bolt thing on my van, then I hit my head on the van door frame. I fell on the stairs and my bag of groceries ripped, I hit my foot TWICE on JackMN's metal bedframe, and I slammed my hand in the trash can (which I responded tactfully to, by screaming "FUUUUCK!" in the middle of the driveway, and kicking the crap out of the trash can. The new neighbors are going to love me.)

Is pain adrenaline-inducing? I wonder, because I'm practically manic now.

3. I don't think it's so much pain as stupidity

You get mad at yourself, y'know? Like yesterday, when I raked a two-day-old cut on my finger on somethin' and opened it up again, I just went "Ow! Dammit!" not very loudly. But if I hurt myself stupid — especially if I bang my head — the hollerin' brings EMTs from the next county.

But my neighbors have always known I'm a couple columns shy of a page, so it ain't no big deal. :crazy:

Because I forgot to pack my diet pepsi with my lunch today and I MISS it. My assistant promised to bring one back after he gets some lunch (I am too busy to leave the office today).

And I banged my knee hard into the corner of my desk.

14. No! Today is worse!

JackMN was up puking ALL night! I got about an hour of sleep, and I'm totally going to get the stomach flu, after being puked, breathed, and drooled all over (I tried to sleep with him, on the couch).
Please, PLEASE let me get sick over the weekend, not during the week!

16. I am.

Woke up to no hot water. Tried replacing the thermocouple on the heater, and that didn't do the trick. Replaced the gas regulator/thermostat and it's doing okay, but I'm out $70. Bummer of a morning. Oh, yeah, the cat dropped a load NEXT TO his box. I swear, he missed it by three whole inches. I'll have to threaten him with bringing in a kitten. That'll fix his attitude.
