Our daughter was conceived this way..... it burst and well you know....
It took me a LONG time to convince her we wanted her......
ugh, I was trying to teach her about the birds and bees and told her I went off the pill to get pregnant and the Dr. told me to use condoms for 3 months, well I think we didn't make it a month :)
I wanted to let her know that condoms were not 100%. Of course her teenage brain at the time went beserk.....

I started a job that will go permanent/full-time on May 1st. I just got called for jury duty, the first time in my life. Right now, I'm hourly with no benefits. The $$ the court pays for jury duty won't pay the rent. :(

it's nearly impossible to get out of. Petit Jury is one thing, this is a whole 'nother animal.

40. Quite an imposition for the state to make on an employed person

Grand jury should not be required unless the person is retired, can arrange their own work hours, or something like that. I don't see how they can expect normal folk to be able to devote that much time when they have a FT job, which they need to pay their bills, etc. But since they're the state, they probably can.
