7. Her daughter was in my son's kindergarten class a few years ago...
It was part of a pre-school-K co-op. My friend donated 2 of her paintings to a silent auction fundraiser, and I bought one for a song. I really enjoy her work. :-)

5. I really like her paintings
I think 'Night Water' would be very interesting to replicate as a quilt. My MIL tries to round up her DsIL to go to a big quilt show every September, and some of the quilts I've seen are like paintings.

6. For those who like that kind of painting,
that is just the kind of painting that they will like . . . for me, not so much . . . not that I think they are bad, just not my cup of tea so to speak

However, I do like Blue Fish

thanks for posting

19. I have a thing about fish paintings. I love 'em.
I always liked that Matisse of the fish bowl and I've got this Paul Klee in my bathroom (okay, not the original).

29. Very talented;
I'm impressed, and not a little jealous, being just another artist. The web doesn't do her art justice.
I'm also partial to representational art in drawing and painting, but enjoy going mental with color.
The technical side of me favors her Blue Fish (excellent!), but for more impressionistic, I really like her rendition of Koi Swimming.
Definitely bookmarked, Kushcan is very talented, and I'd like to learn more about her career.
Thanks for posting, GoG.
