Freaky. My BIL just called "to chat". In all the seventeen years

I've been married, he's never called to chat & in fact has gone out of his way to avoid me (I dated him first but married his brother... bad blood, unfortunately). Has my MIL put him up to it? (She isn't speaking to me either because I've broken God's law.)

I just had a guy over to appraise my piano... :cry: Somebody said I should sell it if I needed cash, and I guess I'm going to. I'll buy something lesser to replace it. But between the money problems, my husband and I remaining in the same house long past the time when we can stand to look at one another, and it being March... things are looking blackish at the moment. I'm not even sure this freaking tunnel has an end!

whatever his motives, time will tell...

Probably as others have stated-- either he's doing the speaking for MIL, or he's wanting $$$$, or he's wanting to know if there's a chance for him now? :shrug:


there may be other motives but it's usually money, sex, or some exchange of favor for someone else...

She and my FIL both have passed away. She would have despised me though. She did most of the time. It was only a year or two before her death that we made amends.
