Thanks! That IS a cute overload!!

19. Thanks.
I don't have a picture of my 4th cat, because she's hard to get a good pic of. Peaches is gorgeous though. She's a rescued flame point "Ragdoll" cat. I say "ragdoll" because we think she's really a Birman. In any case, she's a sweetie and we saved her from being a kitten mill breeder. Molly, our lab, isn't up there either.

The brown bunny's name is Darwin. He's an absolute sweetie. He lets me hold him on his back, like an infant. He's a tiny thing, weighing in at under 3lbs. His life partner, Elfie, is about 6lbs.

Are they going to have a ceremony? Cuz ya know, I do those.

Darwin is a great name. I know several beags named Darwin, something to do with Darwin's ship, the HMS Beagle.

It'll be a real wedding though.

I always say that I'm going to name my next cat "Strange." A few of my animals have "odd" names. Like the kitten (who's now a huge boy) is named Ginsberg, and I have two bearded dragons, Dr. Gonzo and Raoul Duke, like in "Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas."

22. At my first church, there was this dysfunctional family
who had crises and needed to see me whenever my best friend and I had anything planned. I told him "See, I have to deal with this strange family". After a while, they became "the Stranges". He never knew who they really were, but if I had to cancel something he'd ask, "because of the Stranges?" Or I'd say, "Mrs. Strange stopped by the office today".

Btw, where will your wedding be? I haven't been paying much attention (trying to get my internet addiction under control lately). Is it in Mass or someplace where it'll be legally recignized?

I do g/l weddings, but, of course, no license to sign here in Illinois.

Yet.

23. It will be in NJ.
So it'll be a civil union, but we're calling it a marriage.

At least we'll have all the same rights.

25. Either one.
We're probably going to have a Unitarian minister. We'd get a Catholic wedding, if we could.

26. If you'd like a Trinitarian/more traditional Christian service,
I could almost certainly hunt up a UCC that would do it. I don't know anyone in NJ, but could find an Open and Affirming church easily enough. But yeah, UUs will do it, too.

I was married at a UU church. But then, I was marrying a UU at the time.

27. There are UCC churches around here, too.
The UU minister will be willing to do a traditional Irish wedding for us. So we're planning on celebrating our Irish heritage that way.

28. That's cool. Sorry the RCC isn't on board yet, though.
I don't see that happening for decades, if ever. Glad you've found a minister who'll work with you and give you the service you want.

I wish you both well!
