Has anyone tried Tropicana's fish oil orange juice?

I bought some recently after seeing it in an article a food research and development magazine. Since I am not a big fish fan, I thought that this might be healthy for me to drink. Unfortunately, I have been afraid to actually drink it.
Has anyone else actually drank the stuff. Does it tast fishy at all or just like normal orange juice?

2. So it does taste fishy?

They said that they discovered a way to prevent the fishy taste in the article that I read. Maybe they just meant that it tasted less fishy than fish oil.

You asked three questions, I answered them in order.

Though I would think that, just because there's fish oil, it wouldn't necessaruly taste fishy - I take fish oil pills, and they don't taste fishy. But then, it could be the casing their in, too, keeping the taste out.

But I can't imagine that, especially in America, a company would make an orange juice that tastes fishy. I could see that actually being a plus in Japan, but Japan would be the only place that people would think that was a bonus.

5. I'm sorry that I misunderstood

Like I said, in the article it said that they had solved the problem of the fishy flavor. I had read articles in the past where they tried to add fish oil to other products, like yogurt, but they ended up tasting fishy. The whole point of enriching products with fish oil is so that Americans, who don't eat a lot of fish, can still get the healthy fish oil. Most people who don't eat much fish don't like fish flavor so avoiding the fish flavor became the problem to solve.

I'll just hold off on pouring a large glass until I've taken a taste.
My husband said that he'll use it for alcoholic drinks for his friends if I really can't stand it.

6. I know I can't take my fish oil caps with my morning juice

So I save them for the end of the day & take them with dinner.

It also works (keeping the fishy burbs down) if you keep the fish oil caps in the freezer. I don't know how it works but it does.

7. Fish oil can become rancid very quickly

I'm guessing the freezer helps preserve it. That's why you should buy that at a good health food store where it's refrigerated rather than the super market.
