Just curious: I just saw the movie Borat and the college kids were drinking so I was just curious if that applies with the open container laws or not.

1. I think it depends on the driver?
Drinking is allowed on chartered buses and in limousines. I would think the same is true for RVs, if the drivers are hired and not engaging in the drinking.

2. What did you think of the Fraternity guys?
I couldn't believe what bigoted, sexist, and racist asswipes they were! I heard they sued the movie, most likely for embarrassment, because they didn't know millions of people would eventually see it. In my view, they spoke in their own words and should be held accountable. I'm going to find out whether their lawsuit was successful or not. I hope not!

I just watched Borat for the first time last night, too.

4. I was wondering that!
Same thing with tour buses, etc.

We have a "no open container" law in Mississippi...that means that you can't have an open beer in the car, period. But I've often wondered if the same law applied to RVs and tour buses.

I heard in Las Vegas even in a chartered bus or limo drinking is not allowed.....

6. When I lived in Vegas, you always got a "go cup" for your drink

Bartenders would offer a plastic/paper cup to patrons so they could finish their drink in the car. Quaint, but deadly.

edit: I should add that that is no longer true. In Las Vegas, while in a motor vehicle, one can no longer drink one's alcoholic beverage in plain sight of a law enforcement officer.
