1. By remembering that there are incredibly beautiful places in the world
And that I haven't seen them all yet. (Sorry for the lack of snark)

4. By continuing to believe that those who do harm will get their comeuppance.
I may not get to see it, but I know they will get theirs.

10. They do. Every messed up thing I have ever done has come back to bite me in the ass.
I'm a karma magnet.

Stepping out my door and gazing at the cathedral of Redwoods that rises up in front of me is amazingly soothing.

11. How can you gaze at the sky through those incredible trees?
;)

We have some gi-normous trees surrounding our house, too. They are like friends, except when it's quite windy, and I imagine them falling on us and crushing us into smithereens ... :scared:

9. Beer.
Beer is good.*

That and the innertubes.

*disclaimer: I do not drink to excess a-tall, but I do enjoy an occasional beer or two after returning home from work.

12. I'm not good at coping at all.
:( I tend to binge eat, mostly sweets (especially chocolate), and engage in other self-destructive behavior. There was a time when I would have said "knives," but I haven't done that in several months, and I'm trying not to go back to it because it's stupid. Sometimes when I look at the scar on my wrist, though, I'm very tempted...

Other than that, I usually listen to music, go for a walk, or play computer games.

15. I drink heavily
Just kidding!

I tend to resort to humor and joking around when I feel down.

And sometimes I can be very cynical and sardonic, which can go both ways with people on the receiving end.

25. I have, quite possibly, the most wonderful friend on earth.
We've been through the worst together, cried together, lost a whole lot and gained quite a bit. MrG is my coping mechanism...most days. ;)
