I have a gross confession to make.
I kind of like the smell of baby spit-up.
I'm serious.
I got to hold a friend's three-week-old baby recently, and he had that faint odor of urped-up milk.
It reminded me of how my babies used to smell, when I snuggled them.
I'm totally gross.
It's fine.
Just add that to the list of reasons I'm weird. :P

1. Awww. that smell makes me go all mushy and baby wanting too.
:D

Now I have to worry about the possibility of my poor husband going demented because of his vasectomy.

3. Hahaaha! Mine too!
At least I can attempt to blame it on the stroke, not the vasectomy!

5. yeah. baby smell.
even the smell of breast fed, tiny baby poop makes me a little mushy. i have to wear garlic and a cross around my neck to keep them away.

9. Poop, I'm not a fan of,
and thank goodness I can't have any more babies, myself, but holding someone else's little one just brings back memories of a time and a person that disappeared so seemingly quickly.

19. Ughhh! Hang in there! You WILL sleep well again, some day!
My husband's doing well, thanks. He gets very tired by the end of the work day, and starts to slur his speech and have trouble thinking, a bit, but overall, he's in really good shape.

13. It's funny how every kid in a household has their own scent,
even before the whole puberty-stink thing kicks in.

11. I'm with you.
It must be Nature's way of making sure we don't toss then out, but everything about a breast fed baby smells good (or at least not so bad!)

17. I think it's part of our wiring, too.
I always loved how my baby's hair and neck smelled, and it compelled me to hold them close, near my face. It was probably a bonding thing.

18. Funny...as much as I love my kids, I really don't miss
the diapers and their associated contents, not the fluids and semi-fluids a child is capable of producing. But hey, that's just me.

23. It might be...I was on reserve a lot when my kids were infants/toddlers,
so I was "Mr. Mom." I did all the diaper stuff, the formula stuff, the bathing/changing stuff, the reading and bedtime stuff (as well as the midnight feedings). I wouldn't trade it for anything, but I don't miss the aforementioned nasty stuff.

24. I'm looking forward to being done with the diapers!
I've been changing one kid or another, for almost nine years straight. I'm hoping to not make it a solid decade.

30. I like the fresh, clean baby smell (I'm a mom).
There's nothing like it, and with my kids, it only lasted for a little while. Not so big on the urp, though. But, to each her own!
