What a talent. I saw him in 2002 at a festival in Lyons, Colorado. He kept 3,000 of us rapt for his whole set, with no one but himself and his four limbs playing way too many freakin' instruments at once. Great grooves, and he seemed like a completely cool fellow.

6. He put out an in-studio live album called "Live at the Grid, B.C."

See if you can find that one. It was a set of music with what sounds like about a dozen fans, while he's just jamming in a studio in Canada.

8. Hmm. After listening to this version, I don't think it's the same as the album.

He does 12th of September on that CD, but there are enough little differences I'd guess they're different sessions.

Still, it's cool to hear his thing, man.

And he can put all that stuff in a van and just go. No band mates to muck it up.
