63. Yes it is!
I was listening to both Neil Young's and kd lang's version while we were busing from Calgary to Banff over the past holidays. Although we were in Alberta, there was something about hearing the song while riding on a bus through the Canadian Rockies.

Now whenever I hear it, I'm reminded of all my wonderful Canadian trips, but particularly the most recent one!

49. Yeah Only Summersong
The Decemberists - Summersong Lyrics

Ramblin' where to begin
I taste the summer on your peppery skin
Been saved the warmer the waves
I felt a slip into a watery grave

My girl, linen and curls
Lips parting like a flag all unfurled
She's grand the bend of her hand
Digging deep into the sweep of the sand

Summer arrives with a length of lights
Summer blows away
And quietly gets swallowed by a wave
It gets swallowed by a wave

Waylay the din of the day
Boats bobbing in the blue of the bay
In deep far beneath all the dead sailors
Slowly slipping to sleep

My girl, linen and curls
Lips parting like a flag all unfurled
She's grand the bend of her hand
Digging deep into the sweep of the sand

Summer arrives with a length of lights
Summer blows away
And quietly gets swallowed by a wave
It gets swallowed by a wave...

quietly gets swallowed by a wave...

You'll get here, to the point where being swallowed by a wave is next to suffocating. Don't think that because I take it lightly, I don't take it in, completely.
