others are unknown unknowns. That is, you don't know that you don't know what its really about.

Does your OP really want to split us up into "grown-up" and "kids" tables?

And, do you mean all of DU, or just the Lounge?

How big a table are we gonna need?

19. Ever get the feeling that you've walked into a great cesspool of drama?
Edited on Fri Mar-23-07 02:55 PM by WritingIsMyReligion
Me, I just play Steely Dan and the Allman Brothers and Miles Davis and Bill Evans and deride all nonsensical cliques. This ain't my high school, folks. Stop attempting to return to being a teenager; frankly, we don't want or need it. We're fools enough without grown adults trying to slide back into our ranks.

20. I think the saddest adult realization I've made...
is that 99% of the people are just like they were in high school. Nothing changes, people still act the same except the stakes are higher. So as much as you'd like to escape drama and think you will leave it all behind in high school...it just doesn't happen unfortunately. I've seen too many "adults" act like 14 year olds and quite frankly it sucks

I promise not to throw my smashed taters. And I won't smush my peas into the tablecloth. I'll even keep my elbows off the table. I can't promise what I'll do with the jello, though....

So....can I, can I, can I? Huh, huh, huh???

Pleeeeeeeease????
