Finally recovered from last weekend's convention.

I don't know why I bothered with getting a room, didn't sleep more then 3 hours each day.

I did have fun.

12. I could have slept the three hours in the video room, the chairs were great.

We stayed up until until 5am Sunday morning watching a TV show called Supernatural.

We ordered pizza and had a great time.

I was the walking dead by time I got home.

20. It is easy to get lost a big convention, if you go alone.

This was the 18th year so a lot has changed over the years.

When we started VCR's had just came along, no cellphones, or DVD's.

The hotel was WiFi so half the people were walking around with laptops.

A lot has changed in 18 years.

as did the 18 years before that, and before that...I wonder if 150 years ago people said the 18 years previously lived had made a big difference?

A cellphone is old after just a year, a computer is outdated almost as fast.

My Grandparents were born in the 1890's, think of the changes they saw.

My Grandparents first started farming with horses, tractors were not common yet.

Changes are coming faster now.

I did enjoy my summers on the farm, much slower then the city.

I am working on moving to the country, Houston is just getting to busy for me.

The I-10, the Katy Freeway will be wider.

We could have had fast trains but no we need more lanes of traffic, driving on I-10 will be really bad now.

be damned if i was getting in the water this time of year. it was taken at cannon beach when i was in portland in august 2005. you can't tell, but i couldn't feel my feet or ankles in that picture. and hey, you can see me holding up my pants, so i must have hands :P
