Is this commercial really, really gross?

Young women sunbathing on a rooftop. A water tower in the background. The water tower springs a leak, one of the women grabs a sanitary napkin from her purse, jumps way up in the air and catches the entire tower of water with the one pad. EEWWWW!

1. Was it used or new out of the package?

I don't think it's gross unless it was used. It seems like a big lie though. I can't imagine on sanitary napkin soaking up that much water.

2. No, it was new out of the package.

I guess to me the gross part is the idea of that much absorbency being needed in a sanitary napkin.

3. There used to be one that was even worse.

A woman and her boyfriend/spouse are in a boat on a lake. Suddenly, the boat springs a leak, and she whips out a tampon and plugs the hole.

I despised that one. (and I am not a prude)
