had a father and a mother, 4 brothers and 1 sister....catholic education, liberal heritage, and a love of Wisconsin sports....Packers, Badgers, Braves, (in the early days),now the Brewers, and Bucks. Grew up poor, and thought everyone watched CBS as my father worked at the local CBS affiliate as a sales man for commercials. I had 12 years of catholic education, I loved the nuns, I believed everything they told me, and when my favorite brother died of skin cancer at the age of 33 in 1980 I quit believing. I'm that "a kennedy", the "a kennedy" that really should have chosen a better name then "a kennedy" and I'm just so glad to be a member of DU. How's that???? :)

What is it with irish catholics and their plethora of sons? 1 girl and 5 boys in my family. Though my parents didn't do the whole catholic thing with us. Dad's the child of an ex-communiated catholic (hoooo-eee you should hear my Gramma go off on the cath church :wow:) and mom did the whole 12 years catholic school, very catholic parents thing. Weddings, baptisms, and funerals are the only times you catch a Dropkick family member inside a church.

43. So I found this coffee shop

thats near where I work, and they use organic foods to make their cakes, pies and stuff. They use local organic milk as well as soy milk in their recipies. Also, they only buy fair trade coffee! It would rock, if I drank coffee.

Anyway I went there a couple of days ago and bought an Italian soda and the cup has a small green label on it. I can't remember what the label said exactly, but I did find out that the cups were made of corn. I also discovered that they are 100% compostable.

That rocks!

I know where I'm going shopping for (at least) coffee related materials from now on.
