My good deed for the day...burgers for cops.
I've got some good friends on the police force in town...ran into one of them when I was on the way to the grocery store earlier. He asked what I was up to, and I told him that I was gonna throw some burgers on the grill tonight, for lunch tomorrow. He had a pitiful look in his eyes, so I told him that I'd bring him a burger back to town when I got them off the grill tonight...

So I took him and the other guy on duty tonight four big-ass burgers with cheddar, bacon, hickory sauce, and purple onions. They were glad to get them...Saturday nights are always busy for them.

So that's my good deed for the day. (I'd better not get a speeding ticket from those guys! :D)

What was your most recent good deed?

5. Lent my cell phone to a frantic woman.
She saw me standing outside my apartment and asked if she could use my cell phone, since she thought a strange man was following her.

I gave it to her so she could call her husband to pick her up, and I also waited with her while her husband was on his way.

Strangely enough, almost immediately after helping the woman out, two separate people, within 10 minutes of each other, asked me for directions, which I gave them.

I felt like an information booth that day. :D

7. Wow!
You were heroic to that woman. A lot of people wouldn't have lent their phone. Much less waited with her to make sure she was safe.

You're a good guy.

20. SA! What a very kind thing to do!
As someone who has been stranded more then once from a car break-down, and rescued by kind strangers, I'm sure that woman was very appreciative of what you did.

no complaints yet. Grilled medium rare with lots of cheddar and bacon. Topped with hickory sauce and a big honkin' slice of red onion.

Will that do? Would ya like two to go? :D

65. OK, very trivial but nonetheless...
I was distributing campaign leaflets outside the polling booth on election day yesterday and there was a strong wind that ensured that the campaign leaflets from opposing candidates were flying around in all directions and some of the people handing out leaflets for the opposing candidates were having difficulty trying to cope with collecting all the leaflets. So even though I was feeling sick and uncomfortable, I went and tried to help my political opponents collect their leaflets -including the conservative incumbent's leaflets

OK it's a very small and trivial thing but my mind has gone blank for some reason and it's the best I can think of at the moment
