9. I answer the door with a bowl of candy and my hallowe'en mask -

a really grotesque ghoul mask - and compliment the "trick or treaters" on their original costumes. Then I hand each of them candies - "one for you, one for you, and one for you. Happy Hallowe-en!" Then I close the door.
