6. What is Irish soda bread?
I have never heard of this. Is it lighter? Or fluffier?

7. Leavened with baking soda, therefore "soda" bread.
Usually has currants or raisins and caraway seed, but not always. It's a rough biscuit-like dough made with buttermilk and baked in a round loaf.

11. You should see what the grocery store here
tries to pass off as soda bread. It's regular bread dough (wheat) with raisins and round. It bears no real resemblance to actual soda bread other than the round and raisin part. Shameful.

8. Irish soda bread is wonderful.
The description below is accurate.

It's fairly dense, but has a wonderful flavor.

9. Definitely not lighter or fluffier
If it sits more than a day, it can function as a door stop.
