Anna Nicole's cause of death is about to be announced by the Broward Co. ME.

Dr. Perper delayed the announcement because of what he termed two new pieces of evidence, one of which, as TMZ reported, was a computer belonging to Smith that contained e-mail messages with doctors who supplied Anna Nicole with prescription drugs.

She took numerous drugs including methadone, anti-anxiety anti-depressant drugs, HGC, Vitamin B12, by injection.

Severe depression after death of son. Also under stress of number of lawsuits.

Timetable of events leading to death:

Prior to coming to the US, she felt well. Appetite excellent, methadone, growth hormone. She injected immunoglobulin or B12 or HGC. She felt well until she flew to the US...during the flight, she was happy, except she complained of pain in her butt.

In limo she continued to complain of butt pain and chills. Arrived at hotel at 7:30 PM, fever 105 degrees.

She refused to go to hospital. Psychiatrist friend gave her tamiflu and cipro. Placed in ice tub. Temp dropped to 97 degrees.

Took sleeping meds, went to sleep until next morning. Temp never again went above 100. Episode of vomiting...but felt well but weak.

On Wednesday, she had breakfast and dinner, and then went to sleep.

On Thursday, last day of her life, Stern says he woke up at 10AM, Anna was awake, but weak, and asked for his help to bathroom. She went back to bed to sleep after going to bathroom...Stern says he never checked on her again.

Watched by her bodyguard's wife until 1:30 PM, when she was found non responsive.

After autopsy:

Number of interviews. Pain in bottom mentioned in interviews...went back and dissected butt, found evidence of prior injection, scarring. In left buttock, hemmhoragic needle tracks. So a needle preforated an artery.

High fever due to absess by needle, infectious organism reached blood stream and caused high fever. But no evidence of infection in blood at autopsy, so cipro effective.

She had at no time a raging infection. Cipro stopped that.

Methadone negative in blood, but positive in body...so she had Methadon sometime 2-3 days prior.

9 Prescription meds in blood, including clonapene, atovan, valium...but all in therapeutic levels.

In 3rd week of autopsy, toxicology revealed high doses of sleeping meds...

Based on info at time cause of death: combined drug intoxication.

Cause of death: combined drug intoxication with chlorohydrate. Infection in butt contributary cause.

Accidental in nature.

So there ya go.
