So, I saw Elton John last night
at Madison SQ. Garden. It was for his 60th birthday.
Bill Clinton was there on stage and introduced Elton, he has alot of hair.... :)
My girlfriend swooned and I think she was more happy to see him then Elton.
Whoopi was there and I saw Paul Rudd twice in the audience. Almost bumped into him.......
We were 10 rows from the stage.....
It was an AWESOME time.......
the place went BANANAS when he sang Empty Garden........

1. Lucky!! Elton and I have the same birthday, except he's a lot older
:D actually we also share the day with Aretha and Gloria Steinem. Good company, all.

Elton John was the very first person I ever saw in concert back in the early 80's. Hard to believe he's been performing almost as long as I've been alive.

I just had my 43rd yesterday. :D

:hi:

2. Oh, I'm SOOOOO freakin' jealous!
I honestly could see him once a week for the rest of my life, and I'd never be bored. I've been able to see him twice, and the second time we sat above the stage directly behind him. At first I was pretty bummed about it, but when the concert started I realized that because of the way the lights hit the piano, it reflected like a mirror, and I was able to watch him play. God, it was incredible--I was mesmerized the entire time. He was so incredibly awesome!

Lucky, lucky you!!!:bounce:

And yes, I have a serious thing for guys who play the piano--no matter what their sexual orientation. Elton rocks!
