Mommy brag for one moment!
Ok my 5 year old son Cade was put in a special education preschool class for his speech problems. Well he was tested last week and the scores came back and he is just SKYROCKETING!!!
I am so proud of him :)
He was very sickly when he was young (when i was laid off from my job and without insurance :( )
so his speech was delayed for that reason.. (as well as being the baby in the family being spoiled... and my german mother who watches him when I am at work with a accent as thick as tar)

but just within months I could see huges jumps and bounds with his speech.. it looks like he will be able to get out of special ed. next year ...

he is just so proud of himself..
so i just had to brag for a bit :):loveya:
here is my big boy :)

3. He's ADORABLE!!
We may have that problem as well;but it's my own damn fault. I spoil the hell outta my baby. He is saying a few words right now; but only when he feels like it. However; he just turned three; so I'm thinking I don't need to stress too much just yet.

Congrats!! I'm so glad he's doing so well!!

14. But more cheeks!
I love it. Both of my kids were born with chubby cheeks--they're a family trait. Unfortunately, I'm not computer-savvy enough to know how to download and post pictures of my own or I'd show you. Someday I'll make the effort to figure it out.

16. That truly is impressive!
Such a little guy, but he must be working hard. My oldest son had rather severe speech problems - his mispronounced about ten sounds and had a stutter - and he had to take special classes from kindergarten through fifth grade. We saw an improvement over the years but the problems were nowhere near resolved. Finally during the summer before he entered middle school, I told him that if he'd work to correct the remaining defects to the point where we didn't notice them, I'd buy him the massive Star Wars lego set he'd coveted for a year. What do you think? He cured himself within three weeks. He got his lego set and we've never heard a lisp or a stutter since.

Little Cade sounds like he's a determined little lad and no bribery will be required! He's also darned cute. :)
