that's right: me!

not onLy do i get to attend Lostinva and haruka's wedding, i'm gonna be in it. w00t!

that's exciting enough on it's own, but topping that is the uniform i'LL be wearing...

i've been forbidden from attending the ceremony (though, i've been given carte bLanche for the reception... though i'm sure i'LL get into more troubLe than that there) in "fuLL regimentaL" (ie: commando) mode, and bi-baby and cboy4 have to check me to make sure i abided by that one ruLe.

yeah, sniffa's getting a kiLt.

1. All men look good in kilts
Especially ones with nice legs.

You and my nephew will look tres good in full dress kilt kit and the National Irish tartan. Although I'm still nervous almost you sneaking in regimental....

2. Wowza! I love full regimental. At a wedding I officiated in Feb...
the bride surprised the groom with a bag pipe "serenade" at the start of the reception. Fifteen year old bag piper did an amazing job. That was her gift because he couldn't afford to have a kilt made for the wedding and the groom is big into his Scottish heritage.

I sure hope someone posts pictures of the wedding.

6. We're having a piper, too
Maybe for the processional, and definitely to "pipe us" all out.

TRES COOL.

We're Irish-American, but are incorporating different Celtic elements.

The cake (we hope) will be a ginger cake base with Jamesons buttercream frosting. Haruka is actually calling the cake woman at 11:00.

I admit I'm not rational when it comes to this though. I've had my worst travel experiences through there, but it wasn't necessarily Newark's fault. Just happenstance.

8. that is awesome!
I love kilts.

your title reminds me of a funny story. At a friend's wedding, her kid (around 9 or so I think) was the ring bearer. He kept growling during the rehearsal, so his mom stopped and asked him if everything was ok, and he said, "oh yeah, mom! I'm the ring bear!"

hahaha. You could try growling. ;)

Fortunately, we were able to convince him not to growl in the church.
