I'm so cold today I can barely think
It's 42 degrees and windy outside. I have a fire going but my house isn't the best insulated in the world and the wind makes it cold. Brrrr....

My nips could cut glass right now.

3. I realize that doesn't sound bad in some places
I lived in Vermont for most of my life so I realize I sound like a whiner to anyone in an actual cold climate. But in Vermont, my house was fully insulated. This place is a renovated cabin and it's not. So while it doesn't feel that bad outside, it feels colder than hell in here.

5. I'm just teasing you...
I lived in northern California in an uninsulated cabin myself for a while. I know what you're talking about. It IS bone-chilling.

2. It's 77 degrees here in the Atlanta area.
That's too warm for me. I'll take your 42 degrees any day.

7. That rain came out of nowhere
One minute I was sitting on the sofa reading and all was quiet and it seemed like the next minute, the sky was black, it was pouring and my poor cat was in the window with his eyes about the size of dinner plates.

That part was kinda funny actually.

10. I went to Salinas yesterday
When I left at 12:30 it was 75 and gorgeous here. On my way back, about 4, light showers started in Prunedale.

I hadn't been home more than about 15 minutes before it started blowin' and pourin'. x(

We've got mostly blue right now, but there's some big-assed poofy clouds movin' south. I wish they'd hurry up because I've got a project goin' on outside.

9. The sun's pretty now but it's still cold
Funny weather but then this area does have funny weather. I had no idea when I moved out here that it varied so much. I'm glad it does - it would get boring otherwise.

12. A whopping 76 here!!! Way too warm for this time of year
I'm expecting some pretty impressive storms, based on my 43 years' experience living in the Midwest.

13. I'm still cold from a walk we took at 9 am.
It was the wind. The sun is out but the wind is really cold today.
