Dancing with the stars anyone watching?
I like the show. I'm calling back and forth with my Mom discussing it. She HATES Billy Ray Cyrus and just called me exasperated because they didn't eliminate him. (He pulled off his partner's wig last week or something and that made her mad ).

I like Apolo Ono, Leila Ali and a Heather McCartney is surprisingly good.

I know, it's bad to watch ABC and all but at least it's not the "news."

1. I don't watch it but now I'm wishing I'd seen the wig episode.
Apollo Ono... isn't he a skater? Or have I got that all wrong?

2. Yea Ono is an Olympic skater--known for his "soul patch."
He's doing really well which is no surprise given his skating ability.

7. Yeah, but that's just the athleticism.
Speed skating isn't any more like dancing than if he ran track, probably. Still, he's athletic and that helps.

3. He's an Olympic speed skater...
and he's good. And he's got a helluva nice tush.

I can't watch it tonight, the whole work thing (although I MIGHT be able to justify it 'cause Ono lives at the USOC which is only about six blocks from here so I could say....nah, that's a stretch).

I hated Mullet-man last week (that's what Girly-poo started to call him when they first announced he was going to be on it), but he made such a HUGE turnaround last night that I knew he wouldn't get eliminated. Yet.

Sadly, I suspect I know who's going. And he did much better this week, too.

Leila Ali ROCKS. That woman has IT. I think it's going to come down to her, Ono and Fatone.

8. He's a cutie...but a lot shorter than I thought -- I guess the skates
made him look taller. And when speed skating those guys' thighs look massive -- another nice feature.

5. I think the judges are "pushing" a few forward.....
I thought Ali was good, but I didn't think she was spectacular. And this Joey guy, say what??? Heather was really great in her Mambo. Leeza Gibbons may be a nice lady, but she's a tad stiff in her dancing.

I don't want to see Billy Ray doing the Tango.......I just have a sick feeling it may be to Achy Breaky Heart......

9. I didn't watch before but they keep showing that Tucker Carlson was eliminated
during a previous run of the show. Why am I not surprised? Republicans have no rhythm.

6. Yes. "I have a new TV show called 'Let's hunt down and kill Billy Ray Cyrus'"

Great Bill Hicks routine.

I'm glad I don't watch that shit, because I *would* be pissed that I would be forced to watch that piece of shit asshole.
