All good things must come to an end, but I hope you got to see some exciting TV anyway.

It was lots of fun taking a bunch of money back over the border. And I'm going to try my best to get the 7 per cent California income tax away from Ahh-nold, and more especially, the 30 per cent withholding tax away from Chimpy because I don't want any of my winnings going to fund his war on brown people.

I'll always have remarkable memories of Los Angeles, and I can't wait to go there again -- maybe this summer!

No, I taped my first game back in December, then they went on Xmas break and after that they did the Teen Tournament. I came back five weeks later to do the other three.

They tape five shows per day on Tuesday & Wednesday, once every two weeks. So Alex works four days a month. And he gets to wear those swell Perry Ellis duds and be an icon. Nice gig, eh?

I didn't see the Irish connections between the three guys, but still wouldn't have thought of Oscar Wilde, whom I thought was a 20th century figure. Shows how much of his stuff I've read: zero.

I missed your first night (I watch pretty religously) but the wins were impressive.

Tuesday night when you were down 2,400 to 8,000 to 8,400 I thought you were in big trouble and then you just calmly and cooling ran the board. Very impressive.

I thought last night's answer was James Joyce -but I really had no idea. I misread the final category and was expecting an answer about a literary character.

Still you had an incredible run at the end. It looked like you were having trouble with your buzzer for a while and that guy just went OFF for a few minutes. It was clear that you were hunting for the last Double Jeopardy and then you found it when you had caught back up.
