Does anyone watch Top Design *and* 30 Rock?

We've been watching Top Design and Todd Oldham is totally reminding us of Kenneth from 30 Rock. I keep waiting for him to start out a sentence with "My mama always says..."

2. I've been watching "Top Design" but not "30 Rock".

I loved Matt's room last night. I don't like anything about Carisa. I think I've mostly agreed with the judges. I think that "See you later, decorator" is kinda corny!

3. Matt's room was gorgeous. Carisa just seems too inexperienced and bratty.

She needs to grow up a lot and I think she'll be pretty good. Her personality is more in line with the interior designers I had to deal with when I was a wallcovering designer. Pretty annoying for the most part. I didn't think her room looked comfortable in the least. Who would want to sleep in a room with all those angry looking black lines? It seemed like a pet cage.

Yeah, the See ya later thing is pretty dorky. And what the hell is up with that one judge in the middle? The last few shows she's looked absolutely terrifying! Like the bride of Frankenstein meets I don't what.

4. Oh, and you should check out 30 Rock.

It's really, really funny in the vein of Arrested Development.

5. That's on Thurs. night, right?

I loved Arrested Development and thought it was stupid to cancel. it.

Why didn't anyone have a flat screen in their rooms? Or a mini-bar? Coil's "fire room" was pretty bad. I'm sorry he's gone and Carisa isn't!

6. It's on haitus at the moment but yeah, Thursday is the night.

It will probably get canceled like AD did, but it's hilarious while it lasts.

Yeah Goil's room was pretty bad, but he was entertaining. Way more than Carisa. I'm pretty sure that Matt will win, but I wonder whether Carisa or Andrea will end up in the final.

7. The judge in the middle: You mean Kelly with the hair?

I like Andrea but she seems kinda wishy-washy to me. I don't care, as long as it isn't Carisa!

8. Yah, Kelly. Like I'm supposed to applaud the design sense of someone who appears

on t.v. looking like *that*? She's a pretty woman, why did she make herself into some poster child for electrical outlet safety?

Some of Andrea's designs are great, and some are not. She's more hit-or-miss than Matt. Her chef's table design was gorgeous though. I still don't understand why she used that blue in her "earth" room. A green the color of Jonathan's jacket would've been perfect.

9. i watch top design -- but not 30 rock.

this is the most disappointed i've been in the design shows -- i'm totally addicted to top chef and project runway -- but top design has left me cold so far.

but i watch it anyway -- every time.

10. Top Chef is definitely better but I still find this pretty entertaining.

I think the judges kinda suck though. And Todd Oldham is so incredibly wooden, I feel embarrassed for him. Not too embarrassed, though, seeing as he's a millionaire.
