My 77 year old mother is scheduled to have a 5 hour shoulder replacement operation shortly. Last week, she broke it when she fell over reaching for her purse while walking to the funeral home to attend her Godchild's (and also my Godmother) funeral.

She's been through a lot, as well as me, and just hope all goes well.

10. It must have worked ...

the 5 hours of scheduled surgery was done in a little over 2 and she's in good spirits, well as good as someone getting the ball to their shoulder replaced.
