So yesterday at work, my daughter got to try on the 2004 Red Sox championship ring

She recently got a job at the Red Sox souvenir store across from Fenway. She was waiting on this really nice man yesterday, she said, who was looking to buy a jacket at the store. She noticed his ring and asked him if it was real. Well, indeed it was. They talked for about ten minutes and he asked her if she wanted to try on the ring. She mentioned this casually to me today like it is an every day thing when you get to try on on a Red Sox World Series ring. By all accounts, it was probably John Henry according to her description of him. She said the ring was really heavy and he told her a story about sitting at a Patriots game where some fans in front of him were pointing to something which he thought was behind him. Come to find out they were pointing at his ring. He had the necessary credentials to get his employee discount.
