2. I didn't know that there were meals served

at weddings until I moved to Missouri. (Home of the hog roast reception-most of the weddings I've been to have had one.)

I lived in WI. We had cake and punch and nuts and dinner mints, of course.

6. You served meals to the relatives that flew in

for the wedding but it was a family meal and in your home. Otherwise, it was a cake and punch reception.

3. I've only been to one wedding in Minnesota.....

there was a sit-down dinner and plenty of booze at the Edina Country Club. Of course, the people were originally from Illinois, so maybe they carried the tradition with them. Though it was the bride's grandparents who made the move north, but whatever.

On a side note, it was my 21st birthday and so I ceremonially burned my fake IDs and the bartenders made certain to card me just for the fun of it. Great wedding.

that's what I associate with wedding receptions. I guess I've never really looked for Nut Goodies outside of the MN area. I like 'em, just never thought about it.
