1. I recently saw that.....
And even though I've seen it before, a long time ago...

I hadn't paid much attention to it...

I watched it carefully this time.........

And I fell in love with it......

And with Gregory Peck too.......

A great film, by anyone's standards......

2. I like that it was made in B&W.
Wouldn't be the same movie in color.

3. I saw it when I was eleven or twelve and have loved it ever since
I agree with CaliforniaPeggy about Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch.
When an author speaks about a story of their own past, especially at the end of a film, "In those days we...", I always seem to feel nostalgic and kind of sentimental about 'the old days' of my childhood.

4. I remember watching the movie about the same age.
I could relate to the children, my neighborhood looks similar.

Gregory Peck is the only actor who could have played Atticus Finch.

5. Believe it or not
Rock Hudson was the original choice.

6. one of my all-time favorites
made me a die-hard fan of Gregory Peck... and I love that it was Robert Duvall's first role.
