15. Don't be dissin' my man MJ.
He stands for everything that's good about America. Where else can a poor black boy grow up to be a rich white woman?

8. Unfair!
Several reasons:

1) The pictures of the ladies without makeup are also very unflattering pictures in terms of lighting and facial expression. Any of us can look bad in a photograph, and we have the pictures to prove it, too.

2) These pictures are from different eras in their lives, as well. Comparing young and older pix is not fair.

2) Makeup is not as important as lighting (speaking as a former pro in the movie industry). It is very easy to light someone to make almost all their wrinkles disappear. It is also easy to light someone to exaggerate their wrinkles, too, which is precisely what is happening in the photo of Pam Anderson.

If you want to see the wrinkle-killing lighting carried to an extreme, watch Katie Couric on the evening news. Not only do they use the traditional soft light source next to the camera, they light her from below to kill the natural eye-socket shadow. It ends up looking almost like horror film lighting.

Lighting and makeup and stylists are all there to create magic, and it works for most.

11. I agree, she has a lot of natural beauty
It makes me sad that she sought all that cosmetic surgery over the years.

One needs to keep in mind that Goldie Hawn is old. She shouldn't look like a teenager, she's got to be almost 60, if not older.

13. Every woman should have to (get to) look at these photos.
It reminds me of those glamour photos where you see the person in the glamour photo before you see them in real life and when you finally do you meet them you about shit your pants because of the difference (and not a "positive" difference).

We live in a society of such false values.
