1. Or if a liberal married a conservative?
Me and my wife. (She's a sweetie, and a wonderful woman, though)

12. What? No multi-tasking? How 20th Century is THAT?
:P You're doing it right, NWC.

I tell you, 'multi-tasking' is one of those things I think we could really do without. What ever happened to doing one thing at a time and giving it your all? No wonder we're all so frazzled!

7. Can I ask you a question? Do y'all discuss politics or not?
I'm just curious. Most of my friends and co-workers are apolitical so most of my political discussions are with DUers, both online and in person. My entire family is Republican except for my sister who might be leaning towards being a Democrat and maybe actually voting. So, I never discuss politics with them in order to avoid arguments.

8. Well, my wife HATES politics; hates discussing it any old time.
I think she would even if I were a Repub. (Eew! As if... )

She can't stand Bush or the war, so basically, we're okay with each other on the subject. (That's not strictly true; she doesn't like me being such an outspoken liberal, but into every happy marriage, a little rain must fall... )

11. Thanks! It sounds like y'all have a great marriage.
I like what you posted" "into every happy marriage, a little rain must fall...". Two people can't agree on everything.

15. She's not too happy with my sense of humor, either. Too political.
For example, yesterday she got her passport in the mail. So now we can jaunt up to Canada again any time we want. I joked that it was the Canadians' fault that now we needed passports for the border crossing. "Those damn Canadians, with their good manners, intelligent sense of humor...their Universal Health Care system...they're a threat to the American way of life, dammit!"

Mrs. Aristus was not amused...

when you don't have to worry about not having or losing access to high quality health care. *sigh*

BTW, I like your sense of humor! DUers are some of the funniest, most intelligent and most clever folks that I know! :hi:
