can anyone tell me how to reformat, or rid the "Hidden Files" in my Sansa 250e Rhapsody

i only have 300MB available in my 2Gig Mp3 and i only have 260MB in it..

1. Did you try reformatting and reinstalling the firmware?

That usually removes everything that's on it so you will have to reload it. I am not familiar with that model so I can't tell you specifically how to do that, but with my Iriver, there is a program for doing that.

3. Do you access it via Windows Media Player?

Or is it more like another driver where you drag and drop files onto it? In any folder, go to Tools, then folder options, then view, then show hidden files and folders. You may just have to manually get rid of whatever is on there.

why do i not have the space.. where did it go
