8. One of my all time favorite actors...

if not THE favorite.

If you haven't seen A Patch of Blue, you must! I saw it in grade school and it made such an impact in how I viewed race relations ... way back in the early 60's. Not many movies can make such an impact on a child but that one really did.

In real life though, it took place around 1948-1949. And the Sidney Poitier character ended up marrying one of the other teachers.
