question about yahoo email
does a person know if you block them? I don't want to hurt her feelings, but a long time acquaintance
keeps sending me right wing stuff and religious stuff. I don't do either! Todays "joke" was about Hillary and was offensive. Anybody know the answer? Or should I just block and let the chips fall where they may? PS the joke would be offensive about any female.

3. I was in the same situation last fall.



It was some RW BS about Cindy Sheehan and the war. It pissed me off, but I viewed it an an opportunity to educate. I did a little research, wrote a firm but polite rebuttal citing my sources, and hit "reply all." The message went out to about 50 people, none of whom I knew other than my acquaintance. I was delighted to see another person on the list follow suit.

It sounds like your situation is a good opportunity to take a stand against sexism.
