Can I borrow somebody's brain, please?
I have to *gasp* organize a meeting, and the O word is a dirty one in my vocabulary. :scared:

You'd think they know by now to not ask me to do these things. x(

1. You're welcome to mine...
Edited on Sat Mar-31-07 11:23 PM by reyd reid reed
I'm not using it at the moment. And I don't plan to for the next few days.

Of course, that would mean I'd have to find it first, wouldn't it?

:hi:

:P

(And how can the 'O' word be dirty? That's got to be one of the best words Ever.....)

They say hot tea is good if you've got a sore throat.

:hi:

I was wonderin' where you'd gone to. Thought you were outside or takin' a nap or something

5. 'Organize' is one of the best words ever?
Sweetie, freecycle out that rocking chair of yours! It's affecting your...perception. (and throw out the knitting, too, if 'Metamucil' is also on that best words list)

One of the best. I think organizing would be one of his best skills. :)

16. I'm actually chairing it
I should have pointed it out.

I have to dissect and decipher a lot of information to make up the agenda, and keep the meeting on track; I'm just drawing a blank. The person who has a lot of that information - the keeper of the records, so to speak - is on vacation till the day before the meeting. I'm really trying to get as much done until they gets back, and then cram the rest of it.

I can direct conversation with no problem, but I really don't have a good grasp of details. The meeting will be about nothing but. I'm just not a 'details' person.

If I need some help, I'll take you up on your offer. Thanks! :hi:

8. But haven't you heard? - "It's all about the 'O'."

(Anyway, organizing meetings is easy: make entry on everyone's scheduler, reserve room, order coffee and donuts, type up agenda, rehearse tactful way of telling 'Barney the Blabbermouth' to shut the hell up, and you're good to go...)

19. THAT stuff I can do with no problem
(and they all know about the meeting; I'm just the rotating chair) but it's the meat of the meeting, the details, that I'm having problems with. I posted a bit more about it in my response to OediRex.

I can direct the actual meeting with no problem, but draw a blank when it comes to details.:hi:
