Is Windows Update Time Server screwed up?
I'm trying to udate the Time for my laptop and it's putting me an hour ahead of the correct Pacific time. Anyone having the same problem. Looks like Microsoft didn't factor in the "no change" to Daylight Savings time this weekend.

1. Have you gotten the updated patch for the new time change?

4. I'll figure it out
I don't think it's Windows. It might be my router time.

7. I had the opposite problem; my manual time change
never took (with Windows XP) and now it appears to be OK.

8. Are you by any chance choosing Tijuana instead of US time?
One of the features of the patch is that Baja California Norte did not go on DST at the same time as Alta California. Look carefully at the Time Zones map and drop-down list. I live in San Diego and got burned on several machines by that one.

Darn Messicans don't obey the will of Congress.

14. Check your time zone.
As another poster mentioned, your computer may be set to the wrong time zone. Right click on your clock in the lower right corner, then click on Adjust Date/Time. When the dialog comes up, click on the Time Zones tab, and you should be able to select your correct time zone.

Assuming your system has been patched so its up to date, and you have the correct time zone, your computer should automatically set itself to the correct time.
