OMFG, I'm howling with laughter here!!!
Edited on Mon Apr-02-07 02:02 PM by NewWaveChick1981
:spray:  In fact, tears are coming out of my eyes because I'm laughing so damn hard!  Our Admissions Office just sent over an application for Henry Edward Panky, whose nickname is Hank. Hank E. Panky. This was their April Fools' joke on us, and I must say, they had us going. I started to make an award for this "student", and when I noticed the name, I said, "No way! This has got to be a joke!" Apparently, the Admissions Office pulls this kind of creative joke every year, and I was its victim this year.

Ahhhh.... I feel right at home here! :bounce: :woohoo:

On edit: I expect Hugh Jass and Amanda Huggenkiss to apply next year.

1. Sounds like something a friend of mine would do
He teaches financial planning courses, and uses names like that on his test problems. He has compiled a list of roughly 2000 such names.

9. He's the father of one of my college buddies....
hanging out at their house is always a hoot. Everyone in the house is extremely intelligent - you do not want to engage them in a game of Scrabble - unless you want to get your ass kicked.

Some of the more memorable (relatively clean) creations: Bob Forapples, Lou Zerr, Maya Cardialinfarction, Leda Horse-Towater

Not Michael or Mickey or or anything else that would have taken the edge off, but Mike. I still have his business card somewhere.

23. HA!
I've pulled a smilar joke. I get somebody to phone a certain number and ask for Myra Manes. When it turns out its a funeral home answering, they freak out. When the person tells them that they should look for their remains somewhere else, they phone me back in anger. HAHAHA.

28. I know Mr. Panky well
Edited on Mon Apr-02-07 07:35 PM by Hardhead
He works for the legal firm of Dewey Cheatham and Howe.

/yes, it's older than the hills
//still funny

I honestly used to work with a lady married to a gentleman from the Middle East. Their last name Fuky or some variant spelling thereof. Betty Fuky. And the obvious question, on meeting her: yes, but how much? And one of our clients was named Dick Spitz. I'm not making this up. Fortunately, Dick Spitz never got to meet Betty Fuky in person, or someone might have gotten hurt, or a porn career launched.

31. When my organist hasn't decided what prelude and postlude
she'll be playing by the time my secretary needs titles, she makes up titles and composers' names to go in the worship bulletin. Then she sits back to see if anyone notices. I've learned to look for 'em. The week she came out to friends and family, we heard a most pleasant Rondeau by I. M. Gaye.
We frequently hear compositions by Ty Myshue, and Ima Nutte.
