But obviously someone else didn't. Hope its not an emergency.

3. I had a roommate who was a huge practical joker.

When we first moved to our apartment we always got wrong numbers for whoever had the number before us (college town - so quick turnover of numbers - until they began splitting up area codes to create more numbers.)

She was away for several weeks on business.

I started getting calls for John XXXX (can't remember the last name). I treated these the same as all of the many wrong numbers we used to get.

After a week or so I get a call from someone who says "Hi, this is John XXXX and I am calling to find out if there are any messages for me..." I *knew* in that second this was the work of my roommate. (still gives me a good laugh.)
