1. Good personality...

Someone I get a long with, someone who has more different interests than similar interests, and just generally someone I'd rather hang out with more than anyone else.

I get spoiled with this stuff by my current girlfriend. And believe it or not, we are absolutely opposite in terms of politics....makes for some interesting conversations (at the same time, it makes me little sensitive to some of the comments around here, but only if I'm in a sour mood really)!

Then my ideal woman has to be cute or hot. I want her to be shorter than me, and I'm 5'5". I want her to have an athletic build to average build (I don't care too much for skinny chicks). She must have a great sense of humor, intelligent, easy to talk to, easy to get along with (duh), independent, someone who doesn't care about the latest fashions, similar interests, non-smoker, etc, etc, etc....

Warm and funny, and can keep up with me on every level without feeling threatened or insecure. Someone who is extremely intelligent, but secure enough that they don't have to prove it. Someone who I can simple "click" with, without having to explain every thought and every move I make.

For physical appearance, which is much more secondary, just an icing on the cake thing, I prefer tall, not too skinny, but preferably a BMI under 30 (i.e. a few extra pounds is fine, but perhaps not in the obese range), and dare I say a full head of hair in the age range of 35-45.

on edit: I forgot to add that he must be a Democrat or otherwise politically progressive. Thoughtful Greens also considered. :) I didn't say it before because, well, I figured this was a given.
