2. Superfly..
.. do you use that nick on other boards?

Personally, I'd prefer a trip to SE Asia and China. I'm into ancient culture at the moment, so it would seem like a nice place.

He enjoys giving the local Conservatives & Repub's headaches with his posts about how wrong * & his government is - andf how much worse the US is with a repub pResident in place.

12. Superfly??? Bizarre. First heard the album Amsterdam, 1973.
How bizarre to see this handle on a travel thread. First heard the album in its entirety in a bar in Amsterdam in 1973 (reel to reel - high tech!). When I got back to the States, I asked Mom to buy it for me for Christmas. She did (can't imagine Mom at 55 then asking for "Superfly," bless her late heart). What a great travel memory! That, and "window shopping" (if you get my drift) in Amsterdam's Red Light district at age 22 (no money, of course, but what a view). Ah, sweet memories. Everybody abused him, ripped him off and accused him. . .

9. Eastern Europe, Norwegian fjords, New Zealand
1. Eastern Europe. Old Town Prague, Budapest. Medieval history.
2. Norwegian Fjords, a cruise. Saw them from the land side. Remarkable.
3. New Zealand. Not just because of "Lord of the Rings"
4. Greece and Crete. Obvious.
5. Italy. My well off brother has done it right, a number of times.
6. Austria and Bavaria. To go back to where I was at 22. Gorgeous.
7. St. Petersburg and Moscow. The Hermitage alone would be worth it.
8. Jerusalem. Hey, that's history.
9. Springfield, Illinois, and Lincoln country. This one is doable.
10. Beijing, and the Great Wall.
Ten are so few. Leaving off the Pyramids, British Isles, Scandinavia, South Pacific, etc. breaks my heart. Better buy that lotto ticket!
