Not a good year
I had a nice auto accident today. I'm OK, just bruised, but my car is dead. I spent the whole day at home in a daze, waiting for the insurance guy to call back (he didn't, I spend the day at home and he stiffs me... do you know how hard it is to get a unannounced day off from the military?)

Anyway, I had just merged onto I-5, traffic is heavy, I'm doing 35mph, when someone cuts off the car in front of me and they stop dead.
So, I stood on my brakes, and hit her at about 5mph... barely nuged her, no damage to either of us...
That's when the guy behind me hit. My front end's bent out of true, my back end's a accordian (it was a bear getting my stuff out of the trunk) and the car in front of me has a scratched bumper.
Oh, and the jerk who cut her off kept on going... He's not going to stick around and take any blame.

Hey, Nothingshocksmeanymore, you predicted I'd have back pain because of the navy? The guy who rear ended me was a navy chief, and now my back hurts.

1. Not a good century
Accidents suck. Be thankful no people were seriously damaged.

I really liked the 1900s better

3. The 1900s were racist, sexist, and homophobic!
Isn't it better now?

5. Yes but....
I'm speaking from a totally selfish, self-centered perspective. The '00s have kind of sucked.

4. GD it Hawker
You just got back from your medical leave too!! That really sucks. So many assholes on the road, it is really getting scary. I swear it is all ego, the jerk is either oblivious to others or just doesn't give a shit.

Did you get to a doc about your back yet? I hope you are going to be ok!!

10. That sucks.
I hope you're OK. What insurance do company do you have? I've had very good luck getting treated well by both Safeco and Progressive.

Take care of yourself. Get a thorough check up, no matter what.
