That new diabetes meter that negates the need to prick the finger...
Surely injecting that big-ass needle into one's gut hurts more than a pin prick on the fingertip?

1. It's the sheer number of finger pricks that gets old.
Just like the insulin pump insertion is larger than a hypo but it is once every three days instead of 6-8 times a day.

2. My meter can use the arm
So that's what I do. The readings are nice and close whenever I calibrate it. As for my shots, four a day, I don't even feel those tiny little skinny needles. I'm doing so well that my endo just told me people should be worshiping at my feet.

3. Mine is supposed to, but I apparently have bloodless arms
Can't even get a visible speck of blood.
