2. Toyota - Made in America!
A plant in Indiana and a new one being built in Texas. A rare piece of good news in our outsourcing times.

Plus my Tundra is the best built truck I've ever owned.

4. Is it a pickup truck or a space craft?
Close the pod bay door HAL, that interior is hideous.

I can only assume it's just a prototype.

to make sure that, in case of a side-hit collision, either the passenger or the driver will be pushed into it and severed.

Beautiful engineering.

On a different tack: The SUV is quite nice looking - I like it. The pickup, though, looks like some failed 1970s t-shirt chopped-up pickup cartoon design that might have had the words "Keep on Truckin'!" underneath it, and I can just picture unwashed superthin dope-addicted gearheads with huge sideburns and belt-buckles with their initials wearing that t-shirt. That's a seriously ugly truck just because it's so close to that tactless 1970s "hot rod" and/or "muscle car" aesthetic.

BUT - let me say this about the pickup - the interior, apart from that obviously dangerous body-severing middle panel, IS pretty cool looking, and not just because it looks like the bridge of the Enterprise-D.

17. Why start with a full-size pick-up?
Who needs a full-size pick-up unless you need it for work? V-6 fuel efficiency ain't gonna put me in a truck that size.

And, yeah, it's butt ugly.
