getting misty eyed at movies ?
Just finished reading a thread about the Green Mile where the topic was which parts choked people up the most or made them cry.

Anyway going thru the thread it seemed on reflection that as the larger portion of life is behind you it makes you more sensitive to the sad parts of movies & books.

Do you find you get choked up more at movies
as you have less life to live ?

1. i find i get choked up more at movies
as movie-making has become more emotionally manipulative, with camera angles, imagery, and especially score have been combined to hit you over the head with the desired emotion. indeed, sometimes the entire plot is created for the soul purpose of extracting tears.

subtlety in movies is a lot art....
