I must say, the DU Lounge is a place of refuge.

As I go through the Latest Discussion threads, especially those from General Discussion: Politics and General Discussion I find so very many people who are angry and mad and pissed off about anything and everything, much of it with justification, but it becomes old and wearying and a real downer. There are so many who believe their opinion is the only right one and condemn any dissent.
It is nice to come to a place like here where, as Monty Python said, "And now for something completely different". Sometimes it seems like Liberals take themselves and life too seriously and if they were like that all the time I would not want to be around them. This is a good place to come to alleviate that attitude.
