1. They're beautiful.
Am I misremembering, or was chinchilla farming (for their furs) once a fad? My sorry excuse for a parent and a couple of his friends talked about going into it and making a bundle. Assholes.

We got our first two when a couple *thought* they wanted chinchillas. Since they were companions we didn't separate them and now our chinchilla family is growing.

We'll be looking for a good home for the newest baby.

4. We used to have a couple of them...
Cute little guys.. Not very friendly, but a cool pet. They are so soft. And watching them take a bath is buckets of fun.
