6. That is one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITE movie lines!
I can't believe someone is quoting it!

"No, we, we are of course... Norwegians. On a small training exercise for the Nyaato countries-- "

14. "Remark to this, Whittaker Walt..."
Edited on Thu Jan-15-04 05:52 PM by Richardo
Lieutenant Rozanov: What is your name?

Walt Whittaker: Whittaker. Walt--

Lieutenant Rozanov: Remark to this, Whittaker Walt. We must have boat. Even now may be too late. This is your island, I make your responsibility you help us get boat quickly, otherwise there is World War III, and everybody is blaming YOU!

One of my all time faves....

Here's how old I am: I saw that movie at a drive-in during its first run. Was about 9 years old or so. :hippie:

20. So there I was in the 707 simulator,
for my semi-annual emergencies check ride.
And I'd seen the movie a couple of days before.
And the instructor/check pilot gave us an engine fire.
And I grabbed the emergency checklist and in a loud and clear voice announced
"EE-MEHR-GHEN-CEE, EE-MEHR-GHEN-CEE, EVERYONE TO STOP FROM FIRE!"
And everyone collapsed laughing and we had to just shut down the simulator and go get a cup of coffee and get our game faces back on and start over.
;-)
